*What did I do today?
-Today I was looking for sources in which I could use to help me find research. I looked on world book online advanced and found one article on nightmares. I read the article and completed the worksheet in the amount of time left in the period.
*What question was I trying to answer with my research?
- Today, I didnt really have any specific question that I was looking to answer. What I was doing today was just trying to find sources, and then I would go from there to answer my questions. Although today some of my related questions were answered, so I know I have made some progress already in my first day of research.
*What problem, if any, did I have today?
- Today, I didn't experience any problems. If anything it was just frustrating that I didn't find many sources that had anything that would help me with my research, but I am positive that I will find more.
Something I learned today:
-Something that I learned today was that when you are doing a research project, and you are looking something up, you have to be specific. For instance, you have to type in key words, and things that will really lead you towards your answers.
New questions about my topic:
-Right now, I don't really have any more questions about my topic, but I am sure as my research goes on, I will find some, and I am sure they will be answered too.
People that helped me today:
- I didn't really get much help today, but I guess you could say I got help from the librarian because she led me to the site, and Mr. Cav because he showed me what to do.
Today I feel productive, because for my first day of research I feel like I got a lot done, and I know that I understand what I am doing now, so I can make this final project come out great.
What I need to do next is look for more sources, and get a lot more information. This will help me get the answers to my related questions, and eventually , I will be able to answer my burning questions!

Burning Questions
My Topic: Nightmares
Burning Questions-
1. How are they triggered, specifically?
2. Why are they so random?
3. Do you remember all of them in the morning? Why or why not?
4. Do they occur during REM? If so why do they only occur then?
